Analytics that treats people like people

There are two ways to do analytics. One: you collect everything you can about every visitor, sell the data to whoever pays more, and then apologise with a cookie banner. The other: you count what you need to count, protect what you don't need to know, and charge for the service.

Glinto is the second option.

Why this exists

Most analytics tools were built by advertising companies. Their business is data, not software. They fingerprint browsers, track people across websites, and store behaviour profiles that never expire. Then they ask you to put a banner on your site asking for permission to do something nobody wants.

We started Glinto because we were tired of that. We were tired of treating visitors like inventory to be catalogued. We wanted a tool that counted visits without building dossiers on who did what.

What you actually get

Real cookie-free analytics. Not a legal workaround. Not “we only use essential cookies.” We simply don't use them. The tracking pixel is six kilobytes. It creates a daily rotating hash so we can tell someone visited twice, but we cannot link those visits together — and we don't want to.

The dashboard runs on the Cloudflare edge, which means a visitor in Lisbon sends data to Lisbon, not to a server in another continent. And instead of handing you charts and expecting you to become a data scientist, the system reads your numbers and tells you what happened this week in plain language.

Built for European companies

Your data stays in the European Union. The Data Processing Agreement is included by default, not locked behind a sales call. Because we don't use cookies, you don't need a consent banner for analytics. That is one less barrier between your reader and your content.

GDPR is not a feature we added later. It is the foundation the product was built on.

How we stay in business

You pay a subscription. That is the entire business model. We have no venture capital, no pressure to grow at all costs, and no reason to keep data we don't need. If you stop paying, we lose our only source of revenue.

The price is the price. No hidden tiers, no mandatory consulting, no enterprise upsell. We just want to build something good enough that you stay.
