Terms of service

Last updated: 2 May 2026 · Effective version: v1.2

These terms govern your use of Glinto. They’re a contract between you (the customer) and Glinto, Lda. (us). If you don’t agree with them, don’t use the service.

1. What Glinto is

Glinto is a software-as-a-service web analytics platform. You install a small JavaScript snippet on sites you own or are authorised to analyse, and we show you aggregated, cookieless traffic data plus an AI-generated weekly recap.

2. Your account

3. What you can and can’t do

You may:

You may not:

4. Trial and billing

5. Data ownership and processing

Your aggregated traffic data is yours. Our infrastructure processes it under the terms of our Privacy policy and Data Processing Agreement. If you leave, we export your data on request within 30 days and then delete it.

6. What we guarantee and what we don’t

We are transparent about what Glinto can and cannot promise:

We guarantee:

We cannot guarantee (without Cloudflare Enterprise):

This is the same technical reality that applies to Plausible, Fathom, Simple Analytics, and every other Cloudflare-based analytics service. For European websites with European visitors, the Worker runs in the EU in the vast majority of cases.

7. Service level

8. Changes to the service

We may add, remove, or adjust features. If we remove something you’re paying for, we’ll refund the pro-rata portion of your plan. We’ll announce material changes at least 30 days in advance.

9. Termination

You can cancel anytime from the dashboard. We can terminate your account if you violate these terms, misuse the service, or fail to pay. In both cases we’ll export and hand over your data unless a legal obligation prevents us.

10. Warranty and liability

Glinto is provided “as is”. We do our best, but analytics is probabilistic — the numbers are the closest estimate our sampling method can produce, not a court-admissible count.

Our liability in any 12-month period is capped at the amount you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or punitive damages. This doesn’t limit rights you have under mandatory Portuguese or EU consumer law.

11. Law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Disputes go to the courts of Lisbon, except where mandatory consumer law lets you pick a court in your own country.

12. Contact

Questions, complaints, suggestions — contact@glinto.eu.
