Migrate from Fathom Analytics to Glinto
Fathom is a solid privacy-first tool — but at $15/month for basic analytics with no heatmaps, no AI, and no error tracking, you’re paying a premium for a fraction of what’s possible. Glinto gives you more features at a lower price, starting with a free-forever plan.
Why switch?
Fathom Analytics
- $15/month starting price for basic analytics
- No heatmaps or click tracking
- No AI insights or anomaly detection
- No Core Web Vitals monitoring
- No JS error tracking or uptime monitoring
- No free tier
- Limited to dashboard — no actionable recommendations
Glinto
- Free tier forever + Starter at €9/mo
- Click heatmaps + rage click detection
- AI weekly recaps + daily suggestions
- Core Web Vitals + site health score
- JS error tracking + uptime monitoring
- Cookie banner removal built-in
- More features at a lower price
The real cost of Fathom
Fathom starts at $15/month for a single site with up to 100K pageviews. Need multiple sites? You’ll pay more. Need heatmaps? You’ll need another tool. Need error tracking? Another subscription. AI insights? Not available at any price.
With Glinto, everything is included from day one. Our Starter plan at €9/month already covers 10K pageviews with heatmaps, AI recaps, Core Web Vitals, JS error tracking, and uptime monitoring. For agencies and multi-site owners, our Pro (€25/mo) and Business (€59/mo) plans scale without the sticker shock.

What you gain by switching
Fathom gives you pageviews, referrers, and top pages — the basics. Glinto gives you all of that, plus:
- Click heatmaps — see exactly where visitors click, and detect rage clicks that signal frustration.
- AI weekly recaps — plain-English summaries of what changed and why, plus daily actionable suggestions.
- Core Web Vitals — LCP, FID, CLS tracked automatically with a site health score.
- JS error tracking — catch front-end errors before your users report them.
- Uptime monitoring — get alerted when your site goes down, no third-party tool needed.
Frequently asked questions
How does Glinto's pricing compare to Fathom?
Fathom starts at $15/month with no free tier. Glinto offers a free plan (1 site, 3,000 pageviews) and a Starter plan at €9/month with heatmaps, AI, and more features than Fathom includes at any price. For teams, our Pro plan (€25/mo) and Business plan (€59/mo) cover multiple sites with generous limits.
What features does Glinto have that Fathom doesn't?
Heatmaps, rage click detection, AI insights, Core Web Vitals monitoring, JS error tracking, uptime monitoring, and cookie banner removal. Fathom focuses on simple pageview analytics — Glinto covers the full picture of site health and user behavior.
Can I run Fathom and Glinto at the same time?
Yes. The two scripts don’t conflict. Many customers run both during a transition period to compare numbers. Once you’re confident, you can remove Fathom and keep only Glinto.
Will my numbers differ between Fathom and Glinto?
They’ll be close but not identical. Both tools are privacy-first and avoid cookies, but they use different hashing and session logic. Glinto uses daily-rotating hashes while Fathom has its own unique visitor methodology. Minor variations of 5–15% are normal. See our troubleshooting guide for details.
